About brow tinting at Glammed by Roxxe

Brow tinting is a small change with a disproportionate payoff. A custom-blended semi-permanent tint deposits color into your brow hair — and more importantly, into the fine "vellus" hair around your brow that pencil and gel skip over. The result reads as fuller, denser brows without looking drawn on.

Roxxe blends the tint shade specifically for you. If you're a natural brunette wanting warmth, she'll lean warmer; if you're blonde with almost-invisible brow hair, she'll go one to two shades darker than your hair for definition. The tint typically holds 4–6 weeks on skin (fades faster with retinol or exfoliants) and up to 6 weeks on the hair itself.

Brow tinting pairs beautifully with a wax on the same visit — shape first, then tint — for a total time of about 45 minutes. It's a favorite before travel, weddings, sports seasons, or anyone tired of penciling in daily.

Gentle enough for most sensitive skin. A patch test is offered on request if you've had a reaction to hair dye in the past.

Frequently Asked

Brow Tinting — questions clients actually ask

  • How long does brow tint last?

About 4–6 weeks on skin, up to 6 weeks on hair. Fades faster if you exfoliate the area (retinol, glycolic, physical scrubs).

  • Will I look like I have Sharpie brows?

No. Roxxe custom-blends the shade for your natural color — the result reads as your own brows, denser and more defined.

  • Can I get tinting and waxing in the same visit?

Yes — that's the most common combo. Shape first, then tint. Total time is about 45 minutes.

  • I have sensitive skin — is it safe?

Most sensitive skin does fine. If you've reacted to hair dye in the past, mention it when you book and Roxxe will do a patch test 24–48 hours before.

  • How should I care for tinted brows?

For 24 hours: no swimming, saunas, hot showers on the face, or scrubbing the brow area. Long-term: rinse with lukewarm water and avoid strong exfoliants directly on the brows.
